Conversations with founders, designers and creatives: their roots, personal style, point of view, creative process and the experiences that shape their eye.

Mariana & Catalina
Two students, fabric scraps and a grandmother's sewing machine in 2003. Today, a global house with Colombian artisan women at its heart.
Its founders, Mariana Hinestroza and Catalina Álvarez, are an example of the women Leonica celebrates: creative, resilient and unafraid to build on their own terms. Agua Bendita is the sensual, playful and unmistakably sexy side of the Leonica woman.

Juliana Amaya
Pomplon creates handwoven works of textile art through colour, geometry and material. Born from an active meditation between Juliana Amaya and her mother, Hilda Bernal, every piece is made slowly and by hand with a team of Colombian women.
Leonica was drawn as much to Juliana's kindness and warmth as to the work itself. Each piece carries love, precision and dedication.

Itana
Born from three generations of women (Ita, Ana and Mariana), Itana brings ancestral crochet into contemporary fashion. Each garment is designed and made by hand by women artisans, one by one.
Leonica chose it for the soul held in every unique piece.
